Flex Launches New Online & Mobile Platform for Consumer-Driven Accounts

FSA, HSA, HRA technology helps plan participants save and spend healthy

ROSEMONT, Ill. (June 15, 2016)Flexible Benefit Service Corporation (Flex) is very excited to launch new technology for our Consumer-Driven Accounts (CDAs). The new platform provides a superior online and mobile experience for FSAs, HRAs, HSAs and Commuter Plans.

In light of the market demand and ongoing requirements of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Flex has invested in the latest technology to help CDA plan participants achieve a healthier saving and spending experience. From simpler ways to pay healthcare providers to personalized educational tools, Flex now makes offering and using FSAs, HRAs, HSAs and Commuter Plans easy.

“For nearly 30 years, Flex has been there for our valued clients and business partners. We work relentlessly to provide cost-effective healthcare solutions, while striving to be at the forefront of marketplace innovation,” says John DiVito, President at Flex. “This new technology is a culmination of those efforts. We look forward to helping change the way employers and employees interact with these plans.”

Flex will be featuring the new CDA technology at the upcoming SHRM® Annual Conference & Exposition, which will be held from June 19 – 22, 2016, in Washington, D.C. We will also be presenting at the conference for the fifth consecutive year.

The sessions titled, “ACA Compliance: Avoiding The 30 Penalty Triggers” and “HSAs: The Basics and Beyond,“ will be held on June 20, 2016 at 10:45 AM Eastern and on June 21, 2016 at 2:15 PM Eastern respectively. Both events are pre-authorized for 1.25 general HRCI recertification credit hours and 1.25 SHRM Professional Development Credits (PDCs). David Lindgren, Senior Manager of Compliance & Public Affairs at Flex, will present both concurrent sessions.

“The Affordable Care Act session will serve as a compliance checkup for HR professionals working with health plans, while the HSA session will focus on unique features which are making these accounts increasingly popular,” says Lindgren.
